What Happens in a Private Yoga Therapy Session?

Before we meet, you'll complete a short intake form so I can understand what's going on for you and where you most need support.

We begin each session with a gentle check-in — your stress levels, what's present in your body, how you've been feeling.

From there I guide you through a blend of somatic inquiry, womb yoga, breathwork, meditation, and body-awareness practices tailored specifically to you.

You'll learn how to listen to your body, regulate your nervous system, and build a self-care practice that actually fits your life.

Sessions are restful, nourishing, and held on Zoom. You're welcome to join from bed.

Why Yoga Therapy Works When Nothing Else Has

The body remembers everything.

Stress, trauma, and emotional pain are held in the tissues, nervous system, and womb.

These patterns can disrupt hormones, digestion, immunity, energy, and emotional balance.

Yoga therapy goes beyond chasing symptoms…

it helps your body release the root of it all. When your body feels safe, hormones regulate, mood shifts, and energy returns.

What Is Yoga Therapy and How Can It Help?

Yoga Therapy is a trauma-informed, body-centered healing modality that blends movement, breathwork, meditation, and nervous system regulation to address the root causes of physical and emotional imbalance.

As a C-IAYT certified yoga therapist, I guide you through personalized sessions to:

  • Reconnect with your womb and nervous system

  • Support hormonal balance and pelvic health

  • Process stored emotions held in the body

  • Create a gentle pathway out of chronic stress or burnout

  • Build mindfulness of the body, emotions, habits, and thoughts

The body holds on to stress, emotions, and past experiences, this can leave you feeling tense, stuck, or off balance.

Instead of just chasing the symptoms, get to the root with yoga therapy.

Through this work, women often experience:

  • Less anxiety and more emotional stability

  • Improved hormonal balance and reduced symptoms

  • A deeper sense of safety and connection in their body

  • Relief from chronic tension and stress

You don’t have to keep feeling this way.
Let’s talk about what’s really going on in your body, and how to shift it.

What Women Are Saying

Frequently Asked Questions About Online Yoga Therapy for Women

Where can I find online yoga therapy for women?

Wild Womb offers private online yoga therapy sessions for women with pelvic pain, period problems, PCOS, endometriosis, anxiety, hormonal imbalance, and trauma. Sessions are led by Joss Frank, a C-IAYT certified yoga therapist, and are available worldwide via Zoom.

Is yoga therapy available online?

Yes — all Wild Womb yoga therapy sessions are held online via Zoom, making them accessible to women worldwide. Each session is private, confidential, and tailored specifically to your needs.

How is a yoga therapist different from a yoga teacher?

Yoga therapy is a clinical, individualised application of yoga tools to address specific health conditions. As a C-IAYT certified yoga therapist with 800+ hours of training, I conduct a full intake assessment, design sessions around your specific physical, emotional, and mental needs, and provide evidence-informed, trauma-sensitive support. This is very different from a general yoga class.

Do I need yoga experience?

No experience is needed at all.

Yoga therapy sessions look very different from a yoga class — there is no performing poses or keeping up with a group. Sessions are gentle, private, and entirely tailored to you.

What happens in a private yoga therapy session?

Every session begins with a check-in to understand what's present in your body and life right now. From there, sessions may include breathwork, womb yoga, yoga nidra, somatic movement, affirmations, and journal exercises — all tailored to your specific healing needs.

After each session you receive a personalised 10-minute self-care routine to use at home.

How many sessions do I need?

For new clients, the 1-month package of 3 sessions is required as a minimum — this is the foundation needed to begin feeling real results.

Most women notice meaningful shifts within their first month and choose to continue.

Is this safe for trauma survivors?

Absolutely. All Wild Womb sessions are trauma-informed. I have completed trauma-informed training and have years of experience working in trauma healing and addiction recovery settings. Your safety and pace are always the priority.

Can yoga therapy help with PCOS, endometriosis, or period pain?

Yes — these are among the most common reasons women book sessions. Yoga therapy addresses the nervous system dysregulation and chronic stress that directly drive hormonal imbalance, pelvic pain, and PCOS. Many clients experience meaningful reduction in symptoms within their first month of consistent practice.

Can yoga therapy help with anxiety?

Yes. Yoga therapy works directly with the nervous system to reduce chronic stress and anxiety through breathwork, somatic movement, and body awareness practices.

Unlike talk therapy which works through the mind, yoga therapy works through the body — which is where anxiety also lives.

What is the investment for private yoga therapy?

New clients can begin with a 30-minute mini session at $57 USD, or a 1-month package of 3 sessions at $477 USD.

Returning clients can book single follow-up sessions at $157 USD.

A free 20-minute discovery call is available to explore whether yoga therapy is the right fit for you.

Ready to Begin?

If you've been struggling with pelvic pain, anxiety, hormonal imbalance, or a deep sense of disconnection from your body — and you're ready to try something that actually works with your body instead of against it — I'd love to talk.

Your free 20-minute discovery call is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation. We'll talk about what's going on for you right now and whether 1:1 yoga therapy is the right next step.
